Intro to Drops and Jumps

We will start off working on the fundamentals of drops in the drop zone and riders will progress as they feel comfortable through drops 1-5.

We will move over to the intermediate jump zone and break down the body movements to successfully learn how to get air.

CO-ED Upper Maple Syrup Technical Descending Clinic

We will start the lesson at the top of Maple Mountain at the Upper Maple Syrup trail.  Please ensure you leave yourself enough time to climb up Xylem to the trail and have enough time to take a break and a snack if you need it.

We will spend the entire clinic on the Upper Maple Syrup trail working our way down the trail focusing on picking lines, body position and speed control.  When done we will head back down to the parking lot.

More information will come in your confirmation emails.

Ladies Beginner Progression Session

We will start with the basic balance and bike body separation skills. Then we will learn braking, descending, roll downs, front wheel lifts and many other skills and tips.

After that we will take all our new found skills onto the trails to test them out in real time.  This is an action packed 3 hours you won't want to miss.

Intro to Flat and Bermed Cornering and Pump Track

We will start with the basic fundamentals to cornering on flat ground.  As we progress we will take it to faster and tighter corners.  We will move onto berms working to dial in left and right hand corners with proper technique.

The pump track will teach us how to gain and reduce speed on the trail based on how we execute the "pumps" between the corners.

Depending on the group size and energy level, we may head up to Gold Rush to take a lap down in real time.

Intermediate Technical Climbing and Descending

We will work on honing our technical skills at Harbourview for this clinic.  We will work on our technical climbing skills and line picking on Juniper (FM Radio) and see how far we get on the way up.  We will then make our way down working on all the technical descents.  We have the opportunity to work on Kinnickinnick, Stonecrop 1, 2 and 3 if time permits.  This will be a fun day on the trails.  We will meet at the start of the Juniper (FM Radio) trail to maximize learning time.
